Motorcycle tour to benefit Alzheimer’s project

Donations to help Alzheimer’s patients and their families are scheduled to be accepted Sunday as part of Daniel Jang’s cross-country motorcycle tour to raise awareness of the disease. Contributions will go to Project Lifesaver International, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that supplies wrist and ankle bracelets to Alzheimer’s patients so they can be tracked by law enforcement agencies. The bracelets are also used for autistic children. Jang, whose grandfather died of Alzheimer’s in February, is wearing a tracking device during his three-month trip. Jang plans to stop at Russell’s Blue Water Grill, 2450 PGA Blvd., from 3 to 7 p.m. For information, call (561) 847-7659.
